Azure ETL & Warehouse Setup
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I’m ready to centralise several reporting sources and need an experienced data engineer who can move quickly on Microsoft Azure. The job is to design and implement end-to-end ETL pipelines that pull from two main origins—our existing relational databases and a set of external REST-based APIs—and land everything in a cloud data warehouse optimised for analytics.
You’ll choose the most appropriate Azure services (Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, SQL Database, Functions, Logic Apps—whatever fits) and model the data so analysts can hit it with Power BI or direct SQL straight away. Source-side change tracking, incremental loads, error handling and automated monitoring are essential; I want to spot failures before users do.
Key deliverables
• Production-ready ETL pipelines with parameterised, reusable components
• A fully provisioned Azure data warehouse (staging, curated and presentation layers)
• Deployment scripts or ARM/Bicep/Terraform templates so the stack is reproducible
• Clear documentation and a hand-over walkthrough
There’s no hard deadline but I’d like to keep momentum, so propose realistic milestones and I’ll align resources on my side for credentials, schema info and API keys.
