Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement end-to-end data and solution architectures for Azure-based applications, with a strong emphasis on security, scalability, and performance.
• Develop comprehensive data modeling strategies, ensuring high-quality, well-documented, and easily maintainable data structures.
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to define and enforce data governance, security standards, and architectural best practices.
• Architect and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure-native tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics) to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
• Implement and maintain security strategies including data encryption, access controls, and compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).
• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption to business operations.
• Champion best practices in data management, metadata, and data lineage within Azure environments, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
• Mentor and guide data engineers and analysts in data architecture, security protocols, and scalable solution design.
• Design an orchestration layer enabling a Graph API framework enabling front to interact with the backend data.
• Architect to own and document the end-to-end product architecture, including diagrams, capacity models, and dependencies.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of professional experience in data management, engineering, or architecture roles.
• At least 4 years of specialized experience architecting solutions and data frameworks on Azure cloud platforms.
• Advanced expertise in SQL, data modeling, and Azure-based ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics).
• Deep understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance standards within cloud environments.
• Proven track record in developing data strategies for secure, scalable, and high-performance applications.
• Experience in data governance, master data management, and metadata frameworks.
• Familiarity with Python, Power BI, or similar analytics tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
