Azure Cost Optimization Expert

Our Azure subscription needs an immediate deep-dive into spend. I want you to examine current usage patterns, identify every savings opportunity, and hand back clear, actionable steps I can put in place the same day.

Scope
• Pull consumption and billing data across all resource groups and subscriptions.
• Pinpoint idle or over-provisioned services, unnecessary snapshots, misaligned SKUs, and any orphaned resources.
• Model savings from reservations, spot instances, hybrid benefit, and storage tiering.
• Build a concise dashboard in the Azure portal (or Power BI, if faster for you) that tracks ongoing burn and flags cost anomalies automatically.
• Document the recommendations in a short, prioritized action plan with projected monthly and annual savings figures.

Acceptance criteria
1. Optimized cost report with at least three high-impact savings actions.
2. Live dashboard showing real-time spend, budget alerts, and forecast.
3. Step-by-step implementation guide that I can follow without additional clarification.

The analysis and report are needed ASAP, so please confirm you can deliver an initial findings draft within 48 hours and a final package shortly after. I am ready to supply current billing exports and grant the required read-only roles in Azure as soon as we begin.
