Responsibilities
Excellent technical architecture skills, enabling the creation of future-proof, complex global solutions
Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills that are required to operate as a leading member of global, distributed teams that deliver quality services and solutions
Be able to provide technical direction and lead a group of one or more architects to address a goal.
Architect and design solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements
Create and review architecture and solution design artefacts
Enforce adherence to architectural standards/principles, global product-specific guidelines, usability design standards, etc.
Proactively provide guidance on engineering methodologies, standards and leading practices
Demonstrates strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
Knowledge and experience of Agile / DevOps methodologies
Technical Skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure (certificate is preferred)
Experience (or at least good fundamentals) in working with Containers with usage of leading orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service);
Experience with designing highly scalable distributed applications using Microservices and API-driven architecture patterns
Experience with at least one modern programming language (PowerShell, Azure CLI, NodeJS, React, .Net, Python, and Java);
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Automation Tools (Terraform, ARM, Ansible);
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins and Azure DevOps;
Good understanding of virtualization technologies
Foundation experience or reasonable understanding of some aspect(s) of network stack, operating systems, application security, network security etc.
Experience in one or more of the following Azure service categories:
Deep domain expertise in one or more areas
Storage, high availability, DR architecture, cloud security, application performance;
API management, REST API design & development
Relational databases – database architecture and design (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL, Azure SQL);
NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB, Cassandra, MongoDB);
