We're a small software-focused consultancy. Our core skills are in application development, but we occasionally need guidance on Azure infrastructure, particularly around permissions, networking, and proper deployment practices using infrastructure-as-code.
The Role
We're looking for an Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certified professional to provide ad-hoc support and associate their certification with our Microsoft Partner tenant.
What We Need Help With
- Azure permissions and RBAC configuration
- Networking setup (VNets, subnets, NSGs, private endpoints)
- Infrastructure-as-code deployments (Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform)
- Best practices for production deployments
- General Azure architecture guidance when we hit the limits of our knowledge
Requirements
Mandatory:
- Current Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification
- Willingness to associate your certification with our Microsoft Partner tenant
- Responsive communication
Preferred:
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Bicep, Terraform)
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for deployments
- Additional Azure certifications a plus
Compensation
- Retainer: 1 hour per month (paid regardless of whether we need you that month)
- Additional hours billed at agreed rate when needed
- Long-term, low-touch arrangement
