About the Role: We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to partner with us on a long-term, hourly basis. We need a meticulous developer who prioritizes code quality, stability, and long-term maintainability.
This is an async-friendly role. We are based in Australia, if you could reserve your communication time around this time zone would be great.
Your Core Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain serverless applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and Prisma.
Work with our existing AWS infrastructure (Lambda, API Gateway, Aurora, SAM).
Ensure all code is robust, scalable, and well-documented.
Contribute to our CI/CD pipeline (GitHub Actions).
Key Requirements:
Proven senior-level experience as a Backend Developer. (Must be advanced level)
Expertise in Node.js and TypeScript. (Must. Do not apply if not expertise)
Strong professional experience with the AWS Serverless ecosystem: Lambda, API Gateway, SAM, CloudFormation, Aurora PostgreSQL. (Must. Do not apply if not)
Experience with ORMs, specifically Prisma. (Highly recommended)
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
