Refine WhatsApp Lex Bot Messaging
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I need to refresh the conversational flow of my existing WhatsApp bot that runs on AWS Connect, Amazon Lex and AWS Lambda. The core functionality works well; what I’m after is a cleaner, better-structured message sequence inside Lex.
Scope of work
• Add several new bot messages where the current flow feels abrupt.
• Modify a handful of existing prompts so wording, tone and variable placeholders are consistent.
• Delete a few outdated messages that are confusing users.
Because the journey spans multiple turns, the edits must slot neatly into the current intent structure without breaking any Lambda fulfilment logic or Connect channel settings. I will provide the Lex bot export, sample chat transcripts and a quick overview of the Lambda code so you can trace where session attributes are passed.
Acceptance
– All new, changed and removed messages appear correctly in the Lex test console and in the live WhatsApp integration.
– No intent routing, slot validation or Lambda invocation errors after the update.
– A short hand-off document listing what was added, changed and removed, plus the exact Lex build version used.
If you’re comfortable tweaking Lex responses, redeploying, and testing through Connect, this should be a compact task.
