React-Node Service Marketplace Build

Job ID: 40035984

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m ready to launch a service-marketplace website modelled on the flow and polish of rolzo.com, but built with a modern stack: React for the front end, Node.js on the server side, and AWS Lambda to keep the back end fully serverless and easily scalable.

Core experience
The site will let visitors sign up, browse services, book them for specific dates and times, and pay in a single, seamless journey. A clean, responsive interface in React is essential, together with a fast Node API that hands off business logic to Lambda functions. Payments must be processed securely (Stripe or a comparable gateway), and every key action—registration, booking confirmation, and payment receipt—should trigger real-time email notifications.

Scope & milestones
• React SPA with routing, state management, and SEO-friendly server-side rendering or static generation.
• Node.js/Express layer that exposes REST or GraphQL endpoints, deployed as AWS Lambda functions behind API Gateway.
• Secure user authentication (JWT or Cognito) with profile management.
• Booking engine that checks availability, handles scheduling conflicts, and stores reservations in a cloud database (DynamoDB is preferred for its event-driven fit, but I’m open to suggestions).
• Integrated payment workflow, complete with webhooks to update booking status once the charge is captured.
• Admin dashboard to review users, listings, and transactions.

Acceptance criteria
1. A new user can register, verify email, log in, and edit account details.
2. Services display real-time availability, and double bookings are prevented.
3. A full booking and payment flow can be completed end-to-end in under two minutes on desktop and mobile.
4. All Lambda functions deploy through a single command and pass unit tests in CI.
5. The repository includes README instructions that let me spin up a staging environment from scratch.

Deliverables
• Complete source code in Git, commit history intact.
• Infrastructure as Code files (SAM, Serverless Framework, or CDK).
• Deployed staging URL plus handover session.

If you have demonstrable experience with React, Node, and serverless AWS deployments, I’d love to see recent marketplace work or concise code samples. Let’s build something elegant, secure, and ready to scale.
