On-Prem Apps AWS Migration
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I am ready to move a set of production-grade applications from our on-premises servers into AWS and need a specialist who can take the lead from assessment through cut-over.
The work begins with a quick discovery of the current stack, dependencies and performance baselines, then shifts into designing a right-sized AWS architecture that balances resilience, cost and future scalability. I expect well-documented decisions on service choices—whether that ends up being EC2 & Auto Scaling groups, container services such as ECS or EKS, or a serverless approach with Lambda and API Gateway—along with the accompanying network, IAM and monitoring setup.
Once the target environment is agreed upon, I want to see an automated migration path. This can be built with AWS MGN, CloudEndure, or a blue/green pipeline in CodePipeline and Terraform; the key is that rollbacks are safe and downtime is minimal.
Deliverables
• Architecture diagram and written design rationale
• IaC templates or scripts ready for repeatable deployment
• A runbook covering migration steps, cut-over checklist and rollback plan
• Final hand-over session verifying that the apps operate in AWS as expected, with logging, alarms and backup policies in place
Acceptance Criteria
The applications must run in AWS with performance equal to or better than the on-prem environment, automated builds passing, and CloudWatch metrics/alerts firing correctly under load tests. After the hand-over I should be able to recreate the entire stack from code alone.
