Lambda API is not accessible

Situation:
I have a CI/CD pipeline in place that fetch code from GitHub and deploys the backend onto AWS Lambda, serving as a RESTful API via API Gateway. The frontend, an HTML file, is hosted on CloudFront, and it interacts with the backend using jQuery.
Problem:
There's an issue with jQuery not receiving the expected responses from APIGateway. my understanding is that the issue is probably in the API gateway calling lambda
Target:
to find the issue, fix and fix the pipeline accordingly (if needed)
Criteria:
The ideal candidate should possess expertise in AWS and DevOps to tackle this problem effectively.
