AWS Audit, Backup & Training
Budget: $10 – $30 AUD
My team runs all of our workloads on EC2 and S3 and I want a seasoned AWS engineer to give our current set-up a health check, shore up security, and boost overall performance. The immediate priorities are:
• Configuration review – walk through every EC2 instance, S3 bucket, IAM policy and networking rule, calling out weaknesses in security settings and opportunities for performance optimization.
• Backup database build – spin up a separate RDS instance that every developer can connect to, then put a clear, manual promotion workflow in place so we can push approved data to production only when we decide.
• Hands-on knowledge transfer – my staff are beginners, so I need short, practical training sessions that show them exactly how to navigate the AWS console, read CloudWatch metrics, and troubleshoot typical issues.
• Ongoing troubleshooting & security hardening – document fixes and best-practice recommendations we can follow long after the engagement ends.
I’m looking for someone who can talk through architecture decisions in plain English, provide actionable next steps, and leave us with written SOPs and scripts we can reuse. If you enjoy coaching as much as problem-solving, let’s get started.
