Login website built on React + AWS severless
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
The project is about building a login website using React for the frontend + AWS serverless for the backend.
Project milestones (also visually explained in the diagram below):
1. Basic user registration using name, email and password.
1.1. User should receive a verification email to confirm their new account. Users should be able to login only after confirming their email.
2. Users should be able to login as "guest" using just their email. Once they enter their email, they'll receive a one-time link in their inbox that will authenticate them into the system.
2.1. Even though these are guest users, we should still store the user email in our database with a blank password and name.
3. User should be able to reset their password after creating the account in step 1.
Architecture:
- Frontend: React, using React Router, and React i18next. All the strings in the site should be defined in JSON ready to be translated. However, the system will initially be in en-US locale.
- Backend: Backend will be serverless and using AWS technology only. If you are not very familiar with AWS, I can guide you through (I'm an Amazon engineer). Ideally, the user profiles are stored in DynamoDB and the authentication happens through AWS Cognito.
