Help me use the AWS Amplify console.

I am looking for someone to walk me through the use is the AWS Amplify console to deploy a web app stored in a GitLab repository. I am stuck on the concept of creating the YML for build phases and artifacts (if needed) given the repository contains a docker-compose file.
