Enhanced Input Modules for Spreadsheet Tool
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I am looking for an expert who can create complex input modules in a spreadsheet tool. The included modules will be a database query module, an AWS S3 retrieval module, and a file upload module.
The project also encompasses developing an advanced pop-up to configure each module effectively. The configuration options should include:
- Data source selection
- Query parameters
- File upload settings
- Advanced filters
- Choosing editable cells/rows/columns
- Selecting fields to be used in the modules
- Other specified configurations
By the end of the project, I expect to have an intuitive tool that can effortlessly retrieve, handle, and save data from Databases/AWS S3 and handle file uploads.
A good fit for this project would be someone with advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in Database handling, AWS S3 operation, and file handling practices. Additionally, expertise in creating front-end components, such as pop-ups and input modules, in a spreadsheet tool will be necessary.
I am comfortable with a timeline of one month for the completion of the project.
DETAILS: The spreadsheet is already present in the application. I need to manage files (internally the application and input modules management and creation.
Assumptions:
The application is stored in AWS S3, and it leverages AWS amplify and AWS Cognito.
The fronted is developed with Angular only using PrimeNG components.
The Spreadsheet is developed using Syncfusion library.
The Dev Branch is the “external-dev”
In the application we have the following Objects:
Dimensions (like Database dimensions) - They are tables created by the users in which it's mandatory to have a Key field (chosen by the user) and a Description Field (chosen by the users). They can also have other custom fields.
Users can create the structure of the table from the Dimension section.
They can be populated by the users.
Databox - They are tables created by the users. Users can create the structure of the table from the Databox section.
They can be populated by the users.
In a databox it's possible to find fields as Dimension. Not the vice versa. So only dimension types can be used in a Databox.
In the Spreadsheet there are two ways to run them: "Design" and "Execution".
When the user runs in Design mode he is able to create and shape his owns form or forms and the related input Modules
When the user runs in Execution mode he is able to navigate the content of the databox according the format defined in the Design mode.
The default run mode is the "Design mode". So, when a new form is created it is accessed in Design mode.
In a spreadsheet form (it's a file) users can insert more than one Input modules (in Design mode).
In a spreadsheet form (it's a file) users can move an input module from a cell to another one ONLY in design mode
In a Spreadsheet when the user runs in Execution mode, he cannot modify anything apart from the cells, columns or rows that are identified as Editable.
In the Spreadsheet a user can apply standard Excel formatting rover the Input modules
