AWS Amplify Gen 2 + GraphQL Expert for Healthcare Platform Deployment & Optimization

We are building a fully serverless healthcare platform using AWS Amplify Gen 2, and we’re urgently seeking an experienced backend developer to fix critical API issues, stabilize our infrastructure, and help us scale.

This is a high-stakes project with immediate technical challenges and long-term growth potential. If you can quickly resolve key backend bugs and demonstrate strong architectural understanding, there's opportunity to join our core backend team.

Our Tech Stack:
- AWS Amplify Gen 2 – CI/CD and environment orchestration
- GraphQL via AWS AppSync – Primary API layer
- Node.js (Lambda) – All backend logic
- AWS Cognito – Authentication & access control
- DynamoDB – NoSQL storage

Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve critical GraphQL and backend API errors affecting core functionality
- Investigate and fix Amplify deployment failures (e.g., CloudFormation stack limits)
- Migrate legacy FastAPI logic into modular Lambda functions + AppSync resolvers
- Optimize GraphQL schemas and nested models to reduce stack bloat
- Align CI/CD workflows across GitHub branches
- Participate in daily async updates via Trello

Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience with AWS Amplify Gen 2 and large-scale serverless apps
- Deep understanding of AppSync resolver pipelines, GraphQL schema optimization, and CloudFormation limits
- Strong debugging skills with a track record of fixing high-impact API issues
- Familiar with DynamoDB access patterns and Cognito user pools/groups
- Able to work quickly and reliably under time pressure
