Aviation Capstone Research Support
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m in the final stretch of my aviation-engineering capstone and need a seasoned engineer to guide the research and analysis phase. The project is intentionally broad at this stage, so I’m looking for someone who can help me shape a solid mixed-methods approach, validate the technical assumptions I’ve made so far, and keep the work aligned with current industry standards.
Here’s what I have and where I need you:
• A preliminary problem statement and a rough outline of objectives.
• Access to academic databases and recent regulatory documents, but I need help filtering the most relevant material for a robust literature review.
• An initial plan for gathering both quantitative performance data and qualitative operational feedback; the methodology needs expert refinement to ensure defensible results.
• Early analytical models drafted in MATLAB and Excel that require technical review and, if necessary, re-calibration.
What I expect to walk away with is a concise, peer-quality research report—complete with data tables, charts, and clearly articulated findings—that can stand up to faculty scrutiny and industry expectations alike.
If you have hands-on aviation engineering experience and are comfortable designing or critiquing mixed-method studies, I’d love to collaborate. Please outline similar projects you’ve supported and any specific tools or frameworks you prefer so we can hit the ground running.
