Lighthouse R7 ER Screen Maintenance
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I need an audio-visual technician who genuinely knows the older Lighthouse R7 ER LED screens and their companion Lip XGA processor. The gear is still performing visually, but we keep losing the signal coming over DVI. I’m looking for someone who can carry out full preventive maintenance, trace the connectivity fault, and leave me with a stable, documented setup.
You will work on-site with the existing DVI chain—processor, scalers, cabling and display modules—so please be comfortable testing and re-terminating DVI, updating any Lip XGA firmware still available, and aligning the processor’s settings with the screen’s native specs. If you think migrating to HDMI or VGA would be wiser long-term, I’m open to recommendations, but the immediate goal is to restore reliable DVI operation.
Deliverables:
• Diagnose and resolve the current connectivity dropouts
• Perform routine maintenance on both the R7 ER panels and Lip XGA processor
• Provide a brief report of findings, steps taken, and any parts or future work required
