Live Theatre Sound Technician Needed
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I’m staging the premiere of a new play at The MAC in Belfast and need a skilled Sound Technician to run the audio side of our one-day technical rehearsal and evening performance on 28 April 2026. You’ll take charge of setup in the morning, work closely with the in-house team, and mix the show in real time.
Deliverables on the day
• Morning load-in: patch, line-check and EQ all inputs
• Afternoon tech: run cue-to-cue with director and stage manager, refining levels and fades
• Performance call: operate the show, reacting to any live issues instantly
• Post-show: strike visiting equipment and hand over a tidy console file to the house team
