Chicago DJ Sound Tech Needed
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m booking a holiday-season DJ set in Chicago on Monday, December 18 and need a reliable audio pro to handle everything sound-related from load-in to load-out. The room will host roughly 50–100 guests, so the rig has to be powerful enough for a lively dance floor yet balanced for mingling areas.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
• Supply and transport a full DJ sound system—mains, subs, booth monitors, mixer, amps and all cabling.
• Arrive early, set it up, run a thorough sound-check with me, then actively manage levels and any announcements during the three-hour set.
• Strike the gear and clear the space once we’re done.
The venue offers standard 120 V outlets but no in-house PA, so everything must be self-contained. If you have proven experience mixing live DJ events and can keep the night seamless, let’s lock it in.
