I’ve just moved into a newly built home and cannot get any free-to-air TV channels. I’m not even sure if a TV antenna has been installed on the roof, so I need a professional to inspect the setup and get everything working.
The issue:
• Brand new residential property
• TV connected to wall antenna outlet
• Channel scan finds no channels / no signal
• Unsure whether:
• An antenna is installed on the roof
• The antenna is connected to the wall points
• There is a missing amplifier or splitter
• Cabling has not been terminated correctly
What I need:
• A licensed / experienced TV antenna technician
• Inspect roof to confirm if antenna exists
• Test signal at wall outlets
• Check internal cabling, splitters, and terminations
• Supply and install a new antenna if one was never installed
• Tune system so all Australian free-to-air channels work reliably
