YouTube Horror Video Editing
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I have a raw “real horror story” recording that has to be shaped into a chilling YouTube upload for my channel. Everything is in English; what I need now is clean, engaging editing that keeps viewers on edge from the very first frame.
The source materials include:
• Voice-over narration (WAV)
• A folder of royalty-free eerie ambience tracks and sound effects
• Assorted stock clips and stills connected to the story
Your task is to weave these elements into a 8–10 minute finished video, complete with pacing that fits a horror atmosphere—think dramatic pauses, unsettling cuts, subtle zooms, and strategic sound design. Colour grading should lean dark and moody, but without crushing shadow detail. Text overlays (chapter cards, on-screen quotes) need to match the tone and remain legible on mobile. The final file must be YouTube-ready in 1080p MP4 and come with separate SRT subtitles so I can toggle captions on the platform.
If you’re also comfortable punching up the title, description, tags, or even a thumbnail, let me know; that extra help would be a bonus, but the core of this project is the edit itself.
Deliverable acceptance criteria
• 8–10 minute 1920×1080 MP4 (H.264) under 2 GB
• Audio peaks below –1 dB, no clipping, balanced dialogue vs. music
• Seamless integration of provided clips and SFX, matching the narrative cue sheet
• SRT subtitle file synced to narration
• One minor revision round included after first cut
