I have a completed two-hour documentary that deserves a tighter, more visually driven cut. The current version tells the story, but its engagement level drops and the overall pace feels sluggish. I need an editor who can reshape the existing material into a roughly 90-minute master that flows cinematically, keeps viewers emotionally invested, and spotlights the visual storytelling at every turn.
You’ll be handed the full project folder—media, sequences, and reference notes—along with my thoughts on key moments that must stay. From there, the mandate is clear: rethink structure, elevate rhythm, and trim the fat without losing depth or narrative clarity. Experience in long-form nonfiction is essential, and I expect you to harness Adobe Premiere Pro fluently; After Effects or Avid touches are welcome whenever they serve the story.
