Requirement: Senior Editor Supervisor for Documentary Final Cut
We’re looking for a highly experienced Senior Editor / Supervising Editor to help refine and elevate a 2-hour documentary film.
The project has already gone through its first full edit, and now needs a professional eye to make it cleaner, tighter, and more polished — both structurally and visually.
Responsibilities:
Review the existing cut and provide detailed editing notes to improve flow, pacing, and storytelling.
Optionally, work hands-on on the final film to implement those refinements directly.
Ensure the final version looks neat, clean, and professionally finished.
Tighten the runtime by around 30 minutes while maintaining emotional and narrative integrity.
Requirements:
Must have high-level experience in documentary editing and supervision.
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Avid Media Composer.
Strong sense of storytelling, rhythm, and film structure.
Must provide sample work or showreel of previous documentary or long-form editing projects.
