Job Description:
We are hiring multiple freelance audio/video editors to assist with an advanced law school course on criminal investigation. The project involves editing recorded conversations (father-daughter dialogues) to create training materials for students. These clips will be used to teach forensic analysis, where students must identify edits, assess authenticity, and evaluate evidentiary implications.

Responsibilities:

Edit raw audio/video clips to improve clarity while preserving natural speech patterns.

Apply subtle modifications (e.g., cuts, splices, noise reduction, or tonal shifts) that challenge students to detect alterations.

Provide brief technical notes on editing methods used (for instructor reference).

Maintain strict confidentiality—all materials are for educational use only.

Possible Second Task: review edited video material and provide feedback on qualiy:
As part of the application process, candidates will be given a short sample clip and asked to:

Identify any edits or anomalies in the footage.

Briefly describe the techniques likely used to alter the clip.
This helps us assess your attention to detail and forensic editing awareness.


Requirements:

Proficiency in professional editing tools

Experience with dialogue editing, forensic audio, or legal/educational projects is a plus.

Keen ear/eye for detecting subtle edits (e.g., jumps, audio splices, background inconsistencies).
