Podcast Co-Editing & Descript Training
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I have a casual, two-person episode already recorded and sitting inside Descript. During a shared online session next week—Monday 20 July or Tuesday 21 July, Australian business hours—I want to work through the edit together. My main focus is nailing the fundamentals: cutting, trimming and generally making the conversation flow. While we do that, please talk me through shortcuts, templates and any workflow tricks that will make me both proficient and efficient in Descript.
We will also polish my pre-recorded intro and outro. I’d like you to source (or point me toward) royalty-free music that feels calm and but pleasantly uplifting, then show me how to mix it cleanly underneath the intro and outro so that the levels match the episode. I'd also like to generate and polish a few short social media audiograms or video captures with captions.
By the end of the call I’m aiming to walk away with:
• a fully edited episode file ready for export
• intro and outro mixed with suitable music
- two or three finished social media audiograms
• a clear, repeatable Descript workflow I can follow on my own
