Italian Historical Documentary Video Editor

I produce long-form historical documentaries in Italian and now need support from a native editor who can weave the story together and enrich it with well-judged special effects. The footage is already logged; what’s missing is the creative touch that places animated maps, date callouts, and subtle motion graphics exactly where they elevate—never overpower—the narrative.

The first assignment is a 45-minute pilot, with a series lined up if we work well together. I provide the script, voice-over, and soundtrack; you take charge of the timeline in Premiere (or similar) and handle all effect work in After Effects or whichever compositing tool you prefer, then deliver a clean, broadcast-ready master.

Fluent Italian is essential so that pacing, lower-thirds, and on-screen text read naturally. A passion for history helps, but meticulous attention to detail is what counts most. Footage is ready—let’s bring the past to life.
