Editor Needed in West Palm Beach
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
I'm looking for an experienced editor or junior editor in the West Palm Beach/Jupiter Florida area from September 19 through October 1. The budget is $400 a day. MUST be in person.
Key Requirements:
- Work with a laptop and editing software
- Quick turnarounds; provide feedback to the director/producer on takes
- Non-chronological shooting; prior experience is essential
- Knowledge of golf is a plus
Work hours are likely from noon until late at night. You'll need to copy from cards to backup drives, upload, and assemble edits to a script. Final Cut Pro XML (FCPXML) files should be sent at the end of the day. Proficiency in Final Cut, Resolve (Free - paid Studio version not necessary), or Premiere Pro is acceptable.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in Final Cut Pro
- Experience with non-chronological edits
- Strong communication skills for director/producer feedback
- Golf knowledge is a bonus
