Backpacking Event Video Edit

I’m looking for a skilled video editor to create a 5-minute highlight reel from a 2-day backpacking trip with friends.

Raw material includes:

~200 photos taken on a Samsung camera

~10 short drone clips (Hover X4, about 1 minute each)

~10 short Samsung video clips

The goal is to produce a cinematic, upbeat highlight video that captures the fun, adventure, and energy of the trip. The video should blend the best moments from photos and clips with smooth transitions, good pacing, and strong storytelling.

Music style:

Upbeat instrumental similar to Michael Jackson’s “Al Capone” or “Smooth Criminal” (instrumental only)

Requirements:

Experience in event or travel highlight editing

Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve

Strong storytelling and rhythm sense for dynamic pacing

Ability to color-correct and stabilize footage for a polished result
