Audio-Video Transcription & Accessibility Captions
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I have a collection of short recordings—some are standalone audio tracks, others are full videos—adding up to just under an hour in total. I need accurate verbatim transcripts for every file and clean, perfectly-timed subtitles for the video pieces so that viewers who are deaf or hard of hearing can follow along without missing a word.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
• A text transcript (Word or plain TXT) for each audio and video file
• An SRT (or comparable) subtitle file for every video, synced to standard captioning guidelines
• Consistent speaker labels and thoughtful handling of non-speech sounds (laughter, music, etc.) to maximise accessibility
The source language is English, and no translation is required—just precise, on-point captions. If you already work with tools like Aegisub, Subtitle Edit, Adobe Premiere captions or similar, that’s a plus; feel free to use whichever platform ensures frame-accurate timing.
Delivery can be zipped and shared via Drive, WeTransfer or straight through Freelancer. Once I’ve reviewed a short sample for timing and formatting, I’ll green-light the rest of the batch.
