Acting Concepts Video Montages

Job ID: 40114942

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I teach a college-level acting class and want to enrich each lecture with punchy, ready-to-play video montages. Your task is to cut together scenes pulled from movies, television episodes, and stage-play recordings so that every clip reinforces a specific acting concept (e.g., subtext, objective/obstacle, physicality). The finished pieces are strictly educational content; no promotional fluff—just crystal-clear examples my students can discuss the moment the clip ends.

Here’s the flow I have in mind: I give you a concept and a handful of suggested titles or performers. You find (or work with material I provide), trim, sequence, and add brief lower-thirds or captions to spotlight the takeaway. Keep each montage to roughly 2–3 minutes so we can slot it straight into class without derailing the lesson plan.

Deliverables I need from you:
• 5 initial montages (with the option to commission more)
• 1080p MP4 exports plus the editable project files (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve are all fine)
• A simple text document citing every source clip—timecode in/out and original title—for academic fair-use compliance

Smooth pacing, clean cuts, and intelligible audio are must-haves; flashy effects aren’t. If this sounds like your jam, let me know what editing suite you prefer and share a sample of a tight, concept-driven montage you’ve already cut.
