Wedding Ambient Lighting Setup
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I’m planning a wedding in Monsey, New York and need a lighting professional who can create a warm-white ambient wash throughout the venue and add tasteful but louder back-lighting behind the band. I’m aiming for an elegant, inviting atmosphere and more flashy effects behind the band , so the job is all about balance, coverage, and smooth dimming control.
Scope of work
• Design a lighting plan that blends a consistent warm-white atmosphere with more intense stage back-lighting for the band.
• Supply, install, and safely cable all fixtures (LED pars, soft-wash units, dimmers, power distro, and any necessary truss or pipe-and-base).
• Operate and monitor the rig during the event, then strike and remove all gear once the reception ends.
Acceptance criteria
• Even, flicker-free warm-white coverage across guest areas with no dark spots in photos.
• Band area evenly lit from behind without glare in front-of-house sight lines.
• All cables taped or ramped; gear meets local safety codes.
