Video Studio Lighting Setup
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m putting together a dedicated video production studio and need an expert who can walk in and turn an empty room into a shoot-ready space. The cameras and audio chain are already sorted; the missing piece is a complete lighting environment—softbox-based—plus a clean, wrinkle-free backdrop installation.
Here’s what has to happen:
• Select and position the right softboxes to give me an even key, fill and hair light without hot spots or harsh shadows.
• Mount everything securely (stands or ceiling rig—whichever makes the most sense for the room) and route power so cables stay out of frame.
• Install a seamless backdrop system, ensuring it’s tensioned and lit flat.
• Dial in color temperature and exposure, then hand me a simple lighting diagram I can replicate each time I shoot.
Looking for a freelancer located in Columbus, Ohio.
If you’re quick with gaffer tape, know your CRI ratings and can prove past video studio builds, let’s get this room lit.
