Small-Scale DJ Audio Setup
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I’m organising a cosy gathering with fewer than 50 guests and need a complete, professional sound solution. The vibe I’m after is closer to a DJ set than a formal PA announcement, so I’m looking for someone who can supply, install, and run DJ decks and quality speakers that can comfortably fill a small venue without overpowering conversation.
Here’s what I expect on the day: you bring the gear, handle delivery, cabling, and tidy installation, run a quick sound-check, stay on-site to monitor levels, then strike everything once we finish. Clean, well-balanced audio is essential, and I’ll need at least one microphone ready for short announcements.
Deliverables
• Industry-standard DJ decks and mixer
• Two powered main speakers on stands (plus a monitor if you recommend it)
• Wired or wireless mic with stand
• All power, audio cabling, and any DI boxes
• Full setup, live monitoring, and teardown
If you can also provide extras such as a compact sub, basic ambient lighting, or a backup music playlist, let me know—flexibility is a plus.
