Studio Setup Expert Needed for Rising Sun TV – Mic, Camera & Lighting Installation
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
We are Rising Sun TV, a fast-growing media platform based in Brampton, Ontario. We have a dedicated studio room at our office (almost fully furnished) and are now looking for an experienced studio setup expert to help us professionally set up our podcast/video production space.
What We Need Help With:
• Installation and optimization of microphones for clear audio capture
• Ideal placement and setup of multiple cameras or iPhones for multi-angle recording
• Professional lighting setup for a clean, modern, broadcast-quality look
• Connection of all gear for easy solo operation (1-person workflow)
• Guidance on gear placement, acoustic treatment (if needed), and room layout
• Recommendations for software/apps if needed (e.g., Detail app, OBS, etc.)
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with podcast/video studio setups
• Knowledge of lighting for indoor shoots
• Familiar with using iPhones or DSLR/Mirrorless cameras for content creation
• Audio engineering or mic placement expertise
• Friendly and able to explain things to beginners
Bonus if you are local (GTA/Brampton area) so you can visit and help with physical setup, but remote consultation also welcome if you have a clear plan and can guide us virtually.
