Podcast Room Camera & Lighting Setup

Job ID: 40209125

Budget: $25 – $50 USD

I need hands-on help turning a spare office into a dedicated solo-podcast studio. The space is already acoustically treated; what’s missing is a clean two-angle video workflow and a reliable spotlighting scheme that flatters a single on-camera host.

Here’s what I want to accomplish:
• Position and install two cameras so I can switch between a tight head-and-shoulders shot and a wider framing without moving gear each session. I’m open to DSLR, camcorder, or even high-end webcams—whichever delivers crisp 4K, reliable autofocus, and easy integration with OBS or an ATEM Mini.
• Design and mount a focused spotlighting setup that gives me cinematic key, fill, and hair light separation without washing out the background. I already have basic LED panels; if a different fixture or modifier is better, please advise.
• Run all cabling cleanly, set up the capture/streaming workflow, colour-balance the cameras, and leave me with a repeatable scene file so I can hit record and go.

Deliverables I’d like before sign-off:
2. Physical installation and tidy cable management.
3. Camera and light placement diagram with settings.
4. A 10-minute test recording showing both angles correctly exposed and colour-matched.

If you’ve built similar solo podcast or YouTube rooms and understand multi-cam switching, lighting ratios, and colour calibration, your expertise will be invaluable.
