Live Show Stage Manager Needed
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
We need an experienced stage manager to take charge of Zack Knight’s live show at Manchester Academy on 10 October 2025. Your main focus will be twofold: running all technical setups from load-in to sound-check and keeping the show schedule on the dot. We'll loop you into pre-show planning where essential—mostly final walkthroughs and confirmation calls—so you can save your energy for show day.
Safety leads the agenda. You will own the emergency protocols, working closely with venue security and our touring crew to ensure every contingency is rehearsed, communicated, and ready to activate at a moment’s notice.
During load-in, you will coordinate with in-house sound, lighting, and video teams to translate our advance notes into a flawless stage. Once doors open, you’ll manage the running order, cue departments, and keep artist management informed so the performance flows without a hitch.
We're looking for someone who has already steered concerts in Academy-size venues or larger. Confidence with digital audio consoles, DMX lighting networks, and standard touring paperwork (call sheets, risk assessments) will make you an ideal fit.
Load-in starts 14:00, sound-check at 17:00, doors open at 19:30, curfew 23:00. Deliverable: a smooth, incident-free show signed off by the venue and artist team. If you stay calm on comms and thrive under pressure, let’s talk!
