Event LED Wall Setup & Teardown
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m mounting a small (max 10 ft × 10 ft) LED video wall for a rental-and-staging style event and need a technician who can see it through from the first flight-case crack to the last latch. The gear—panels, rigging, Novastar processors, media server, and cabling—will be on-site; what’s missing is a steady pair of hands and an eye for perfect pixels.
Here’s what I expect:
• Assemble and rig the wall safely, keeping within the tight load-in window
• Configure processors, map the canvas, match color/brightness, and verify signal paths (HDMI/SDI, CAT6 data)
• Troubleshoot any power, data, or tile issues on the fly so the screen is show-ready
• Break down, pack, and label every panel, cable, and case for a clean load-out
Experience in live event rental environments, comfort on lifts or ladders, and familiarity with quick-lock cabinets are important. If you’re certified for work at height, even better. Let me know about similar walls you’ve built and the control systems you know, plus your availability for the event date.
