Comprehensive A/V System Design Lead

I need an experienced Lead A/V Engineer who can take ownership of the front-end design and planning phase for our upcoming projects, then hand that vision to the CAD, Integration, and Installation teams with absolute clarity. Your scope begins the moment the sales brief lands and ends once the build teams have everything they need to execute.

Your day-to-day focus will be system design and planning across three interconnected disciplines: audio reproduction, visual display, and room/control automation. Throughout the process you will act as the technical authority that Sales, Programming, CAD, and Integration lean on for answers, revisions, and sign-off.

Key deliverables
• Detailed system schematics (DWG and PDF versions)
• Complete equipment specifications with model numbers, firmware requirements, and logical signal flow
• Clear integration guidelines that outline cable schedules, rack elevations, and any programming hand-offs

I typically work in AutoCAD, Revit, D-Tools, and Q-Sys Designer; if you prefer equivalent toolsets just flag them before we start. All documentation must be self-explanatory so downstream teams can proceed without revisiting basic design assumptions.
