Toyota 86 Passenger Window Regulator
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
The passenger-side window regulator on my 2017 Toyota 86 has given up and needs swapping out. I’ll order an OEM-spec replacement myself and have it ready for you; all I’m looking for is skillful removal of the faulty unit, clean installation of the new one, and a quick calibration so the auto-up/auto-down feature works exactly as it should.
You’ll be working in my home garage, which is fully covered, well lit, and has power access. Please bring your own trim-removal tools, fastener clips (in case any break), and the diagnostic gear you normally rely on to reset window positions.
Deliverables
• Remove existing passenger-side regulator and motor without damaging trim or glass
• Fit new regulator, align the glass, and verify smooth travel and tight sealing
• Confirm door-drop function and one-touch controls operate correctly
• Provide a short hand-off note on anything I should keep an eye on
Experience with the Toyota 86 / Subaru BRZ platform would be ideal. Timing is flexible—weeknights or weekends both work for me—so let me know when you could slot the job in.
