Swift Select 122 Control Unit Diagnosis

Job ID: 40354082

Budget: £250 – £750 GBP

The mains control panel in my Swift Select 122 (reg WG19 ORF) has gone completely dead—no lights, no click, nothing. I have already pulled the unit out to look for obvious damage or loose connectors and everything appears clean and firmly seated. Unfortunately, both the engine and habitation batteries have now been drained to zero, so I can’t even get a flicker from the system.

I need someone who knows the Swift Sargent (or similar) control modules inside out to:

• run proper bench and in-vehicle tests to confirm whether the control unit itself is at fault or whether a hidden wiring or charging issue is the real culprit,
• bring the batteries back to a safe state (or advise on replacement if they’re beyond recovery), and
• leave me with a fully functioning 12 V/230 V setup and written notes of what was fixed or replaced.

Please let me know your availability to come to the vehicle (I’m in [insert location]) and any specialist diagnostic kit you plan to use. Once we agree a date I can make sure the van is accessible and hooked up to mains if you need it. i am in LU 7 9LD near leighton buzzard Beds
