Repair LED Headlights & Taillights

I have a pair of ex-Japan headlights and matching tail lights for a single car model. The units already use LED technology, but age, shipping and moisture have left them with flickering segments, cracked seals and the odd dead diode. My goal is to get them back to flawless, road-legal condition instead of buying new assemblies.

Here’s what the job involves:
• Bench-test every function—low beam, high beam, DRL, indicators, brake, reverse—to pinpoint faults.
• Replace or re-solder any failed LEDs, drivers, resistors and corroded wiring.
• Reseal and polish the lenses so they stay clear and condensation-free.
• Verify beam alignment and light output match factory specs for this model.
• Supply a brief video and photos that show the complete lighting cycle working before return shipping.

I’ll courier the lamps to you and cover any specialised components you specify in advance. You’ll already have the tools—ESD-safe soldering gear, power supply, multimeter, sealant, polishing kit, etc.—and a solid track record with automotive lighting repairs or retrofits.
