PROJECT INSTALLATION SPECIFICATION – LABOUR + BODYWORK FROM WORKSHOP
Vehicle: Ford Transit Panel Van — 2018
Client Supplies: All electronics, sensors, cameras, rims, mirrors, lamps, autoradio, antennas.
Workshop Supplies: Bodywork materials (filler, primer, paint, clear coat), consumables, and any repair materials not provided by client.
1. Parking Safety System — Installation Only
Scope:
• Install client-supplied parking sensors
• Install client-supplied rear reversing camera
• Integrate with Android head unit
• Calibrate and test system
Deliverables:
• Fully working parking assistance system
2. Surveillance System (6 Cameras) — Installation Only
Scope:
• Install 4x external cameras (rear, front, left side, right side)
• Install 2x internal cargo cameras
• Install client-provided DVR/NVR system
• Route and protect cables
• Configure GPS and recording features
Deliverables:
• Fully operational surveillance system
3. Android Car Computer & Antennas — Installation Only
Scope:
• Fit Android head unit
• Install GPS, 5G and radio antennas
• Connect reversing camera feeds
• Integrate CANBUS and steering wheel controls if present
Deliverables:
• Fully functional infotainment system
4. Windshield Washer System — Diagnosis & Repair
Scope:
• Diagnose washer system (pump, hoses, reservoir, wiring)
• Replace or repair components as needed (client- or workshop-supplied)
• Test pressure, spray pattern, and leak integrity
Deliverables:
• Restored washer system
5. Rim Replacement — Installation Only
Scope:
• Remove existing rims
• Fit new client-supplied rims
• Transfer tyres and balance wheels
Deliverables:
• Balanced wheel set installed
6. Vehicle Diagnostic — Parking Warning
Scope:
• Perform full OBD-II scan
• Identify the cause of the parking warning message
• Provide recommended repairs (workshop labour / client parts)
Deliverables:
• Diagnostic report and fix quotation
7. Lighting Upgrade — Installation Only
Scope:
• Install stronger lamps provided by client
• Test electrical load & CANBUS compatibility
• Adjust beam height
Deliverables:
• High-performance lamps installed and aligned
8. Exterior Mirror Replacement — Installation Only
Scope:
• Remove scratched/damaged mirrors
• Install new client-supplied mirrors
• Test folding mechanism and indicators (if applicable)
Deliverables:
• Properly installed new mirrors
9. Bodywork – Workshop to Supply Materials
Important: Bodywork requires professional officine; client does not supply materials.
Scope (Workshop Responsibility):
• Perform minor plastering, dent correction, and smoothing
• Provide filler, primers, paint, and clear coat
• Colour match to Ford Transit white
• Spray and finish required sections
Deliverables:
• Refreshed, corrected bodywork using workshop’s materials
10. Scheduled Service Check-Up
Scope:
• Replace oil & oil filter
• Replace air, fuel, and cabin filters
• Full mechanical inspection
• Fluid top-ups (workshop to quote materials)
• Reset service light
Deliverables:
• Completed service maintenance with checklist
