Certified Diesel Truck Mechanic

Job ID: 40439742

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I need a qualified diesel mechanic who can keep my fleet of trucks running smoothly and legally on the road. Your core task is to diagnose, service, and repair diesel engines, drivetrains, brakes, and hydraulics on medium- to heavy-duty trucks.

You must already hold an N2 Diesel Mechanic certificate. A Code 14 (EC) licence is important because every repair finishes with a test drive and road-worthiness check. MQA credentials are a strong plus, and your welding or light plumbing know-how will help with occasional trailer or tank repairs.

Day-to-day you will:

• Run computer and manual diagnostics, then explain the issues in plain language.
• Perform the agreed repairs or overhauls, sourcing parts only when authorised.
• Sign off each job with a short report, torque specs, and a final road-test log.

I keep a tight schedule, so reliability and clear communication are essential. If you have the tools, experience, and pride to get trucks back to work fast, let’s talk.
