12V Vehicle Display Controller Development

Hi! I’m looking for a friendly, practical partner to help me take a fast-boot 12 V vehicle display controller from zero to first working prototypes.
What it does (plain English): A ~10″ wide display that shows a few live gauges, reads the car over CAN-FD, and includes GPS, IMU, ambient light auto-dim, and Wi-Fi. Minimal external ports, car-friendly power.
What I need (end-to-end):
• Guidance on a sensible architecture that boots quickly and drives the screen reliably.
• Hardware: schematic, BOM, PCB for a single mainboard; help liaising with a China PCBA house for 5–10 prototypes.
• Firmware: bring-up, basic UI glue (e.g., LVGL or similar), CAN decoding, GPS/IMU/ALS integration, and a simple test app.
• A short bring-up/test checklist so we can verify each unit.
Success looks like: quick splash / responsive gauges, 12 V-friendly, clean wiring, and 5–10 pilot units we can road-test.
Please share: 2–3 relevant examples (display or 12 V/automotive projects), what parts of the stack you can own (hardware, firmware, factory hand-off, testing), your availability, and whether you prefer fixed-price or milestones.
