Experienced Automotive Plastic Part Design Engineer

I am a Senior Automotive Plastic Product & Mold Design Engineer with over 11 years of industry experience in injection-molded plastic part development for automotive applications. I specialize in interior trim components, fascia parts, instrument panel components, and OEM-compliant product design.
My core expertise includes plastic part design, B-surface and C-surface modeling, master section development, wall thickness optimization, rib/boss/snap-fit design, draft analysis, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up analysis. I have strong knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM), tooling feasibility, injection molding processes (hot runner, cooling, gating systems), and mold flow analysis interpretation.
I have hands-on experience supporting full product development cycles — from concept design to production release — including DFMEA, DVP&R, PPAP, APQP documentation, and design validation activities. I regularly collaborate with styling, CAE, manufacturing, and tooling teams to ensure cost-effective, lightweight, and production-ready designs.
I am proficient in UG NX and Teamcenter, with working knowledge of CATIA, Creo, and SolidWorks. I can support plastic part design, mold design assistance, DFM reviews, design optimization, engineering drawings, and production-ready CAD deliverables.
