Compact HDMI-GVIF Converter PCB
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a complete PCB design that converts an HDMI 2.1 signal to GVIF for an automotive project. The board has to fit a tight, in-dash enclosure, so every millimetre counts: think genuine small-form-factor layout with solid thermal and vibration considerations.
Key expectations
• The schematic must accommodate full-bandwidth HDMI 2.1 input and a single-pair GVIF output, with proper high-speed impedance control, ESD protection, and automotive-grade power filtering.
• Layout has to respect differential-pair routing rules and keep the total board outline as compact as practical while still meeting HDMI/GVIF length-matching limits.
Deliverables
• Complete schematics (Altium, KiCad, or similar)
• Optimised PCB layout files, ready for fabrication
• Gerbers, drill files, and pick-and-place data
• Detailed BOM with automotive-rated parts and suggested alternates
• Brief design report outlining key signal-integrity decisions and recommended enclosure grounding points
