Hiring: EV Vehicle Design Engineer / Automotive Product Designer

About the Opportunity

We are developing a new electric light commercial vehicle (LCV) similar to the Tata Ace EV and Ashok Leyland Bada Dost.

We are looking for an experienced automotive designer/engineer who can design and develop the complete vehicle from concept to production.

Responsibilities

* Complete vehicle design and engineering
* Chassis and frame design
* Cabin and cargo body design
* Battery pack and drivetrain integration
* Suspension, steering, and braking systems
* 3D CAD modeling and engineering drawings
* Prototype development and testing
* Support for homologation and certification in India

Required Skills

* 5+ years of experience in automotive or EV design
* Proficiency in CATIA, SolidWorks, or Siemens NX
* Strong knowledge of vehicle architecture and component packaging
* Experience with battery, motor, and controller integration
* Understanding of Indian automotive regulations and certification

Preferred Experience

* Mini trucks, loaders, or commercial vehicles
* EV prototype development
* Supplier and manufacturing coordination
Qualifications

* B.E./B.Tech or M.Tech in Mechanical, Automotive, or Electrical Engineering
