BMW E64 (2006 650i Convertible) – Simple VO Coding (HiFi Subwoofer Activation)
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Project Description
I need an experienced BMW E-Series coding specialist to perform a simple VO-based coding adjustment on a 2006 BMW 650i Convertible (E64).
This is not a retrofit, not firmware programming, and not a complex coding project.
The objective is straightforward:
Restore subwoofer channel output on an OEM replacement HiFi amplifier via proper VO alignment.
Vehicle Audio System: HiFi (S676A)
Replacement Part: OEM amplifier (same part number as original)
All other speakers are functioning correctly.
The amplifier is OEM and confirmed operational.
This is strictly a VO alignment to ensure subwoofer channels are active.
Interface & Environment
• K+DCAN cable installed and configured (COM1)
• Windows 11 laptop ready
• BMW Standard Tools package must be provided in advance by selected coder
Scope of Work (VO-Based Only)
• Read FA/VO from CAS
• Confirm S676A (HiFi) option
• Backup AMP FSW_PSW.TRC file
• Perform SG_CODIEREN on amplifier
• Ignition cycle verification
• Confirm subwoofer channel activation
STRICT REQUIREMENTS
This is an E-Series vehicle.
• Must use BMW Standard Tools (INPA / NCS Expert / EDIABAS)
• Must already have a stable, working E-Series installation
• A complete BMW Standard Tools package must be provided in advance for review
• Live-session software installation is NOT acceptable
• No flashing (WinKFP)
• No firmware programming
• No manual FSW trace edits
• VO/FA coding only
If you do not actively code E60/E63/E64 vehicles using BMW Standard Tools, please do not bid.
Workflow Expectation
Read → Backup → SG_CODIEREN → Key Cycle → Verify
No experimental methods.
No improvisation.
No unrelated tools.
Remote Session
Remote access via AnyDesk or TeamViewer.
Session will be scheduled only after software verification.
Please Confirm in Your Bid
• Experience with E60/E63/E64 platforms
• Familiarity with HiFi (S676A) systems
• Confirmation you can provide BMW Standard Tools package in advance
