Automotive In-Process Quality Inspector
Budget: ₹400 – ₹750 INR
My automotive manufacturing line needs a fresh, highly experienced perspective to keep defects out of the value stream. The assignment centres on full-time in-process quality inspection, covering three critical touchpoints: assembly line inspection, component testing, and production-process audits.
You will walk the line alongside our operators, apply IATF-16949 know-how, use gauges, SPC software and digital check-sheets, then issue concise daily reports that highlight non-conformities, potential failure modes and immediate containment actions. Weekly, a deeper-dive summary should visualise trends, reference any 8D or FMEA work you initiate, and recommend sustainable fixes that my engineering team can implement without disrupting takt time.
Deliverables
• Daily inspection log (CSV or XLSX) with photographs and measurement data
• End-of-week trend report with Pareto and control-chart visuals
• Corrective-action proposals tied to root-cause findings
Acceptance criteria: zero open questions on measurement method, traceable data for every sampled part, and actionable recommendations that have been reviewed live with the production supervisor.
If you bring at least 5 years on an automotive line, speak the language of PPAP, and can start within a week, I want to hear how you would structure your first audit day and what inspection tools you would request.
