Adapter Plate - Engine to Transmission

Looking to discuss theory on how to go about making this happen. How to determine which flywheel, clutch and pressure plate is needed or if custom one is needed. I have some knowledge but am not an actual engineer so wanted some help before starting on this endeavor.
